Â

First it was global cooling; our planet would become one large Popsicle. Then it was global warming; our planet would become one large cinder. Because neither of the first two scenarios happened, they decided to call it global climate change. Now they had both bases covered. Global climate change was proved to be a hoax. The University of East Anglia in England falsified data to push their ideological agenda. When the lies were exposed Professor Phil Jones had to admit that there was no significant warming over the past 15 years and that is was likely that our climate was even warmer during medieval times when man was not a contributing factor. The scandal was dubbed “climategate”. But they remained undeterred.

But now comes even more bad news. Erupting volcanoes have offset recent Earth warming, according to a team led by the University of Colorado at Boulder. Researchers came to this conclusion after searching for clues as to why Earth did not warm as much as climatologists expected between 2000 and 2010. Actually the news is not really shocking. A host of scientists have been debunking the populist theory for decades. Early studies failed to take into account solar activity and vast historical data on interglacial periods of warming and cooling since the existence of our planet. The Great Lakes formed from glaciers during a period of warming long before man was a potential factor.

Global climate change fanatics have used increases in carbon dioxide as their rallying point to convince people that we and we alone are responsible for any increases in temperature. There is an old expression, “Correlation does not mean causation.” If we follow their logic: man spews carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, carbon dioxide traps solar radiation, the planet heats up, and we die. They dismiss the equally plausible argument that as our planet warms up in a cyclical manner, ice melts, land masses are exposed, plants grow, and insects and animals thrive. As plants, insects, and animals die or continue respiration, carbon dioxide is released. So, it is our planet’s cyclical warming that increases the levels of carbon dioxide not the increase in carbon dioxide caused by man that is raising the planet’s temperature.

But it has never been about the science of climate change, it has always been about furthering the agenda of Liberals and their ravenous appetite for the power to control every aspect of our lives. What we are experiencing is not Global Climate Change but Global Climate Shame.

The only thing in greater jeopardy than the Antarctic Ice Sheet is scientists claiming jeopardy of the Antarctic Ice Sheet. From the latest ice core analysis, it turns out that ice sheet melts are not that unusual in terms of melting.

Recently published research from a large team of scientist using deep ice cores from the Western Antarctic Ice Sheet Divide dating back some 2,000 years confirmed what many scientists have already been saying. Recent melting in this area is in fact normal.

If we looked back at this region of Antarctica in the 1940’s and 1830’s we would find that the regional climate would look a lot like it does today. Glaciers would be retreating much as they are today. As with many climate change issues, conditions in the Western Antarctic vary so much over short time scales that it is hard to determine if any long term changes are actually happening.

Another ice study of the Antarctic Peninsula also concluded that melting there is not unprecedented. Large pieces of ice in that area probably broke of or melted at times in the pre-industrial past.

Because these findings do not conform to Liberal ideological talking points they likely will go unreported. Their agenda and not the truth is their real objective. Fact has become fiction and fiction has become fact. For Liberals and the Democratic Party the most recent scientific findings on melting ice are More Bad News

While it is difficult to place Vladimir Putin on a pedestal, on the issue of immigration and immigrants he has it right.

On February 4th, 2013, Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, addressed the Russian Parliament and gave a speech about the tensions with minorities in Russia: "In Russia live Russians. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, should speak Russian, and should respect the Russian laws. If they prefer Shari'ya Law, then we advise them to go to those places where that's the state law. Russia does not need minorities. Minorities need Russia, and we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how loud they yell 'discrimination'. We better learn from the suicides of America, England, Holland and France, if we are to survive as a nation. The Russian customs and traditions are not compatible with the lack of culture or the primitive ways of most minorities. When this honorable legislative body thinks of creating new laws, it should have in mind the national interest first, observing that the minorities are not Russians.

Legal immigrants come of their own free will. They choose to become citizens of their own free will. It is not the responsibility of a nation to assimilate their culture into the culture of the immigrant it is the responsibility of the immigrant to assimilate into the culture of nation he has chosen. A nation without borders is not a nation. A nation without a culture, a history, a moral compass, and traditions is not a nation. When it comes to Vladimir Putin, the question of immigration was Put In Perspective.

	Â

While some people may be looking at North Korea’s leader Kim Jung Un and laughing at his threat to launch a missile attack on the United States it is actually North Korea and the rest of the world that is laughing at the United States. Kim Jung Un makes such threats only because he is convinced that United States, specifically President Obama, does not have the resolve or the inclination to meet such a challenge.

Â Given the quirky and unpredictable nature of the young leader Kim Jung Un should not be dismissed so easily. With each new threat and the corresponding capitulation by our leaders Kim has continued to up the ante. North Korea has a long history of aggression. In 1958 they hijacked an airliner. In 1968 they attempted to assassinate the leader of South Korea. In that same year they held the USS Pueblo and its crew members hostage.

Â In 1974 they made another assassination attempt. In 1987 they bombed a South Korean airliner, killing 115 passengers and its crew. In 1994 they shot down a US helicopter and in 2003 they shot down a US reconnaissance plane. Recently they torpedoed a South Korean boat, killing 47 sailors.

Such attacks have been met with little or no resistance. It is no small wonder that North Korean leaders feel they can strike at will with impunity. As Ronald Reagan said, “Of the four years he has seen in his lifetime none came about because we were too strong.” Our withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan and the drawing down of our military capabilities has not gone unnoticed by our enemies. Our once fearsome reputation as a ferocious tiger has been replaced by a Paper Tiger.

	Â

When the jobs gains were posted for March it was yet another reminder that the reported drop in the unemployment rate from 7.7% to 7.6% does not begin to tell the real story. The real unemployment rate is closer to 14%. A paltry 88,000 jobs were created, with most of those jobs being part time, temporary, or low paying jobs. Economists predicted a gain of 190,000 jobs. Over half a million people stopped looking for work.

The labor participation rate fell again to 63.3%, the lowest level since December 2007. Over 90 million people are out of work. There are 7 million fewer people working now than when President Obama took office. People who live in the real world know the job market has not improved. Many college graduates are working at low paying jobs not utilizing their educational background. Young people and minorities have been particularly hard hit.

Was there any real expectation that a President with no business, economic, or management experience would have the knowledge and expertise to understand the fundamentals of job creation? His policies of onerous regulations and burdensome taxation only serve to reduce the prospects of meaningful job formation. But rather than man up and take responsibility for the dismal job numbers President Obama chooses instead to blame the sequester and Republicans.

The sequester was a plan created by the President. The anemic cut of 2.4% in spending has absolutely no effect on job creation. The sequester does not cut spending it merely slows the rate of increase in government spending. Until voters wake up and demand government get out of the way of business we will continue to see an inexorable decline in the US job market. The pathetic jobs gain in March was just another Another Reality Check.Â

	Â

Kansas has chosen to go where few dare to go. Kansas legislators gave final passage to a sweeping anti-abortion measure Friday night. The bill declares that life begins "at fertilization" and blocked tax breaks for abortion providers. The bill also banned abortions performed solely because of the baby's sex.

The bill prohibits abortion providers from being involved in public school sex education classes and spells out in greater detail what information doctors must provide to patients seeking abortions. Pro-Abortionists consider any limitations on abortions a violation of their “perceived right to privacy and their perceived right to choose.” The fact is: the only rights that have been violated are the rights of millions of unborn infants endowed by their Creator, their rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, their rights to due process and equal protection.

If we can guarantee those rights to terrorists can we not guarantee those same rights to the most innocent and most vulnerable? While Liberals are repulsed by images of Holocaust victims, targets of ethnic genocide, they are totally unmoved by the relentless slaughter of unborn infants.

Abortion is not about the safeguarding the right of a woman to make decisions about her body, it is about the moral responsibility of society to protect the right to life of every individual, regardless of race, creed, gender, age, or degree of development. If an unborn infant is not life then why perform an abortion? If that unborn life is not human then what life form is it?

It is encouraging to see that at least one state has the courage to defend all human lives, to do what is right, not what is popular. Abortion is the single greatest assault on human life in the history of mankind. While many people and our government choose to deny the existence of a being greater that themselves they will be held accountable for their actions, if not in this life, then surely the next. Our Constitution is not about protecting perceived government endowed rights it is about Protecting the Innocent.

	Â

The destruction of the Republican Party by President Obama and the Democrats has been simplified by the self-destructive nature of old guard Republicans such as John Boehner and John McCain who seen more concerned with destroying rather that nurturing young idealistic Party members.

A case in point has been the virulent relentless attacks on Senator Ted Cruz for daring to do his job, representing Conservative values, and questioning destructive unconstitutional legislation. Ted Cruz aggressively questioned Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein on her proposed gun control legislation. Her proposed legislation would restrict the types of weapons that citizens would be allowed to own.

He simply asked the question: Would she would “deem it consistent with the Bill of Rights” to apply the same guidelines of banning weapons in the Second Amendment to the banning of books in the First Amendment? Senator Feinstein apparently outraged that anyone should question her judgment snapped back, “I’m not a sixth grader. Senator, I’ve been on this committee for 20 years.” She described herself as “reasonably well educated,” adding, "I'm not a lawyer, but after 20 years, I've been up close and personal with the Constitution. So it's fine you want to lecture me on the Constitution. I appreciate it. Just know I've been here for a long time."

As a wise person once said, “There is a difference between 20 years of experience and one year of experience twenty times. Age and experience does not necessarily translate wisdom and maturity. Senator Feinstein is just one in a long list of political elitists that feel they know what is best for us, that we lack the smarts to govern our own lives. While her response and behavior as a Democrat and Progressive are understandable the response and behavior of Republican Congressional members such as John Boehner and John McCain are not.

Republican Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz were described by Senator McCain as “wacko birds” for merely articulating Conservative values. If only Senator McCain and Speaker Boehner were as passionate in their defense of Conservative principles and our Constitution and an assault on the destructive policies of President Obama and the Democratic Party.

While Senator McCain and old guard Republicans are mired in quagmire of Liberalism and big government, we are delighted to see a Republican Senator running on Cruz Control.Â

When Speaker of the House John Boehner recently stated that he absolutely trusts President Obama and that he also agreed with the President that we do not have an immediate debt problem the sound of Conservatives jaws dropping was deafening.

The President has not told the truth on job creation, the unemployment numbers, cutting the deficit, the claims of Obamacare, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, transparency, bipartisanship, and class warfare just to name a few. Why would Mr. Boehner believe he is now telling the truth?

Both Boehner and the President claim we have no immediate debt crisis when we in fact have $16 trillion dollars in national debt, trillion dollar budget deficits are far as the eye can see, over $15 trillion in worthless printed money, and $100 trillion in unfunded liabilities for Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. We borrow 40 cents of every dollar we spend. If the Federal Government was a private sector business they would have long since filed for bankruptcy.

Conservatives can certainly understand such statements coming from the mouth of the President but can find no such justification coming from the mouth of Speaker Boehner. It smacks of naiveté, ignorance, or collusion. Does the President or John Boehner actually believe what they are saying or believe that the electorate is ignorant, uncaring, or just disinterested? While the Liberal media, doting followers of the President, and Progressives found such statements reassuring Conservatives found these statements simply Astounding.

	Â

Former Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney re-emerged after nearly four months in seclusion at his Southern California home. But apparently the party that nominated him, the party that supported him, and the party that campaigned for is now turning their backs on him.

He had the audacity to criticize the President for flying around the country, berating and blaming Republicans instead of preventing Washington’s latest crisis. They are apparently upset that he is doing the job that they should be doing. They say that without a prominent position in the private sector he lacks a ready platform. When it comes to the Republican Party it has not been an obstacle for Sarah Palin. When it comes to the Democratic Party it certainly has not been an obstacle for former President Clinton.

But the problems of the Republican Party lie much deeper than Mitt Romney. They seem more comfortable with attacking members of their own party that attacking President Obama or the Democratic Party. While Speaker Boehner has caved on virtually every issue with the President he was not at all shy about punishing Republican Tea Party House member for failing to fall in line.

And who can forget Chris Christie’s warm embrace and praise for President Obama while trashing his own party. Republican Party members and Conservative pundits all too willingly blamed Romney for his loss in the 2012 elections. They said he failed to get his message out to the voters or sent the wrong message. If Republicans continue to engage in a circular firing squad they will not have anyone left to shoot at.

There was nothing wrong with the Romney/Ryan message. There was nothing wrong with either their character or credentials. Voters let ignorance, greed, and prejudice take precedence over the President’s record and the best interests of our nation. Like old Ebenezer, Republicans are cowering in their bedrooms afraid of the Ghost of Elections Past.Â

Karl Rove is best known for his two political outfits, American Crossroads and Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies. They are touted by Mr. Rove as great think tanks and repositories for the sum of all Conservative knowledge and wisdom. But if results are any indicator of a successful strategy then they have failed the test.

In the 2012 elections, Rove backed candidates, in addition to the loss of the Presidency, lost 10 out of 12 Senate seats and 4 out of 9 house seats. With over $400 million spent the return on investment was barely 1%. Mr. Rove continues to insist that it was just a matter of being outspent by the Democratic Party.

Mr. Rove says that his political action committees will select and support candidates they deem worthy of being called Conservatives and will select and support candidates that they feel are capable of winning elections. But their results do not support their contentions.

It is insulting that some self-appointed expert would presume to speak for all or most Conservatives. It is in fact, the Tea Party, not Mr. Rove or his political organizations that were responsible for Republicans reclaiming the House in 2010. It is Tea Party candidates that have taken on not only the President and the Democratic Party but old guard loyalist Republicans as well.

Karl Rove is symptomatic of elitists Republicans who purport to represent Conservatives when in fact they represent the status quo. They are unable or unwilling to articulate values of limited government, rule of law, the Constitution, the right to life, secured borders, separation of powers, and strong military. Maybe they have difficulty in expressing these values or maybe they don’t really believe their own party platform.

With all due respect to Karl Rove, we the people, will decide who will represents us and who will speak for us not The Wizard of Smarts.Â

The good news is: consumer spending increased in January for the third straight month. The bad news is: incomes sank 3.6%. Since he who controls the numbers controls the message it is difficult to place any faith in the recent string of numbers. Whatever spin the President and White House will choose to place on these numbers the cold hard facts are inescapable.

Since President Obama took office we have added $6 trillion in new debt, about $20,000 for every man, woman, and child. We borrow 40 cents of every dollar we spend and spend a trillion more than we collect in revenues. Real unemployment is closer to 14%, long term unemployment has increased dramatically, there are two million few people working now than when the President took office, and the majority of jobs created are low paying, temporary, part time jobs.

The cost of energy has soared, trillion have been spent propping up the stock market, hastening runaway inflation, while savings accounts and CD’s bring a near zero return on investment. A hostile business environment and strangling regulations are forcing our remaining jobs overseas. As government continues to expand the private sector continues to contract. Since 1947, thirty two percentage points of our economy have been transferred from the private sector to government.

The average hourly compensation for people on welfare now exceeds the average hourly compensation for workers. It is not a question of if our economy will collapse but when it will collapse. Those who have good jobs and have been unaffected by our pitiful economy are oblivious to the fate that awaits them as well. We are a nation largely in denial. We cling to the slightest bit of good news as a baby clings to its security blanket. But our day of reckoning is coming and will not be a mix of Good News – Bad News.

	Â

After midnight on March 1 the world as we know it ceased to exist. The seas had risen 40 feet, the sun no longer rose in the east, the temperature dropped 50 degrees, crops no longer grew, our cell phones ceased to function, cable TV could not be seen, teachers, firemen, and policemen were out of work, hospitals closed, and movie stars huddled in their mansions. At least that was the scenario the President Obama and the White House presented.

The sequester was actually not a cut in real spending just a cut in the rate of increase in spending for the Federal government. And that cut amounted to about $43 billion, with $22 billion of that affecting the military. A decrease of a mere 2.3% left Democrats running down the halls of Congress screaming that our nation was being destroyed. Actually our nation is being destroyed but not by budget cuts; it is being destroyed by uncontrolled spending.

A real decrease in spending of 2.3% by an individual or a company would go unnoticed. But for gluttonous members of Congress and the White House this is nothing short of catastrophic. The Federal government will actually spend more in 2013 than it did in 2012 even with the cuts. It must be remembered that any increase in spending is based on a bloated baseline resulting from a trillion dollar stimulus tacked on to our budget every year since President Obama took office.

In 2007 when Bush was still President and Republicans controlled Congress the budget deficit was a mere $162 billion. In 2008 with Bush still President and the Democrats in control of Congress the deficit was $457 billion. In 2009 with Obama President and Democrats in control of Congress the budget deficit soared to $1.4 trillion, almost a tenfold increase in just two years. The almost trillion dollar stimulus introduced in 2009 has remained in the budget each succeeding year.

But why tell the truth when lies are so easily accepted by the electorate? With a slight of hand reminiscent of Houdini, President Obama is pulling yet another rabbit out of his magical hat. This is not an exercise in responsible governing it is an exercise in Obfuscation.Â

	Â

Every teenager remembers living at home under the autocratic rule of their mother and father. They were told what to eat, how much to eat, when to go to bed, how to dress, what they can read, the music they can listen to, who they could have as friends, how much allowance they could have, where to live, and generally how they must live their lives.

There is an old expression: “The more things change, the more they stay the same. Fast forwarding, things have not changed a whole lot since the time we were children. This time is it government that has become our surrogate parent. Government tells us what we can eat and drink and how much we can eat and drink, what we can wear, the music we can listen to, the movies and cable programs we can watch. Government tells us where we can live, the type of home we may have, and how it must be constructed. Through public education they tell us what we may learn and what we must think and when we may worship our Creator.

Government tells us the cars we must drive, how we may drive, and where we can drive. Government monitors the conversations we have, the places we go, what we read, what we see, and who we associate with. Government is too busy telling us what we must do rather than listening to what we want to do. Government tells us how much we can earn, how much of it we may keep, and how we must spend it. They tell us they know what is best for us while they squander our hard earned money and steal from our piggy bank.

There is only one purpose for our Federal Government: to secure the unalienable rights endowed by our Creator, to allow us to live our lives as we see fit, in accordance with the laws of God and man. Rather than enjoying the freedoms secured through the right of passage into adulthood we are Moving Back With Our Parents.

	Â

James Madison stated, “It will be of little avail to the people if the laws are so voluminous they cannot be read or so incoherent they cannot be understood.” The Ten Commandments is only 10 sentences long. Our Constitution is a mere 20 pages long. Both are concise and written in language that is common sense and easily understood. Evil men with an insatiable appetite for power and control have distorted and perverted both for personal gain.

Article 1 Section 8 of our Constitution grants Congress the power to “Regulate Commerce with foreign nations, and among several States, and with the Indian Tribes. Regulate meant to make regular or uniform, and facilitate the free flow of goods but not, except in the case of danger, prohibit the free flow of and good. So why would our founding fathers incorporate a Commerce Clause? Prior to the Constitution each State determined how they would regulate and tax and commerce. Without uniform trade regulations commerce among the States would be made more difficult.

No clause has been more disputed or generated more cases of litigation. From the beginning Chief Justice John Marshall saw no limitations for Congress and left its interpretation and enforcement completely up to their discretion. For politicians, it is not about the free flow of goods, it is about power and control and the unfettered ability to tax. They now control and tax every aspect of commerce whether it is goods or services, written or oral, optional or mandatory. Through the unconstitutional health care reform bill we are now required to purchase a product whether we want it or not.

It is not about helping the American citizen; it is about stripping away the rights endowed by our Creator. It is about imposing the same tyrannical form of government and control that was rejected by our Founding Fathers prior to the Revolutionary War. The American electorate has been complicit in this usurpation of power. More concerned with living off the government dole than electing office holders willing to follow the tenets of our Constitution we have become spectators in the systematic dismantling of the greatest nation the world has seen.

	Â

Few can forget journalist Bob Woodward and the Watergate scandal. Liberals applauded when he and Carl Bernstein brought down Richard Nixon when the President participated in a cover up of a break in at the Watergate Hotel. They lauded his unrelenting pursuit of the truth. But once he decided to present President in an unfavorable light the Obama administration decided to do what they do best, launch an all-out personal attack. Â

In his book, “The Price of Politics”, Woodward reported that automatic spending cuts were initiated by the White House. The sequester cuts were the brainchild of Chief of Staff Jack Lew and Congressional Relations Chief Rob Nabors. Obama personally approved of the plan from Lew and Nabors to propose the sequester to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. They did so at 2:30 p.m. July 27, 2011, according to interviews with two senior White House aides who were directly involved. Nabors told others that they checked with the president before going to see Reid. A mandatory sequester was the only action-forcing mechanism they could devise.

Now fast forwarding, the President is claiming that it was the Republicans that proposed sequester and are responsible for the budget cuts. The irony is: there are no actual budget cuts just decreases in the amount of increase. Spending for 2013 will be higher than spending in 2012. The fact is even with sequester, the cuts amount to a mere 2.4% hardly a blip on the radar. Contrary to what the President has said, the cuts are only $44 billion not $88 billion and of that $44 billion only $22 billion affects the military with an annual budget of $1 trillion.

Woodward recently said in an interview that Obama is showing “A Kind Of Madness I Haven't Seen In A Long Time”. His remarks were in response to the President’s statement that he would not deploy the U.S.S Harry Truman to the Persian Gulf, citing budget concerns. The President is now asking for Republicans to compromise on the sequester, which is already a compromise and is asking for yet another tax hike. When it comes to launching an attack on Bob Woodward, President Obama is not just attacking a journalist, he is Attacking an Icon.

	Â

Democrats and other Liberals are pushing hard to restrict or remove guns from the hands of law abiding citizens. Convinced that we are unable to make responsible decisions about the defense of ourselves and our families they once again act like the paragons of virtue and wisdom. But who has been most responsible for the moral, economic, and physical destruction of our nation and its people; it is politicians.

Their laws and policies have saddled us with $16 trillion in debt, trillion dollar budget deficits as far as the eye can see, high unemployment, and a disastrous housing market. They have bankrupted Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, the Post Office, transportation, and government pensions. They have swelled the ranks of people on welfare, food stamps, people below the poverty level, long term unemployment, and people on disability. They have grown government while shrinking the private sector.

They have trashed the Constitution, ignored the courts and the Rule of Law and bypassed Congress. They have failed to secure our borders, destroyed Pubic education, and forced through unpopular and unconstitutional health care reform. They have engaged in class warfare, attacked Christian principles, attempting to remove any mention God and all religious symbolism. They have attacked hard working successful people while pandering to those who live off government handouts.

They have legitimizes the slaughter of 54 million unborn infants through Roe v Wade. They were responsible for the deaths of four embassy employees in Benghazi and a border guard and over 300 Mexicans from “Fast and Furious”. Their wars have cost the lives of almost one million Americans. Guns control polices have kept criminals armed and citizens defenseless.

It is not citizens, small businesses, and corporation that have led to our moral and financial decline. It is not the lack of laws that is responsible for deaths from handguns or rifles. Nor will a new law or new laws prevent criminals from committing crimes. Based on history, if we want to restore law, order, morality, and our Constitution we do not need a ban on guns; we need a Ban on Politicians.
